1.
Chosen Component of Fitness: Cardio Vascular Endurance and slightly touching
flexibility
Why I chose it- since my goal is too loose weight/inches cardio is one of the
best ways to do that. But I also think, the ability to maximize the range of
motion around my abdomen would be a great way to fasten the weight loss/inches
process.
2. Chosen Method of Training: Circuit Training (for double periods) and Fartlek
Training (for single periods)
Why I chose it- Referring back to my routine, timing is an issue. I think for
my routine, circuit training is "a great way to build include a broad
range of exercise and skills. Circuits feature multiple stations where you can
perform assigned activities for specific periods of time, or until they've
completed a set number of repetitions. After finishing at one station, and they
rotate to the next." That's what I plan on doing up in the fitness center.
And Fartlek has "the variation in speed and intensity stresses
both the aerobic and anaerobic systems. It differs from traditional interval
training in that it is unstructured; intensity and/or speed varies, at my
will." Which is why, in a 30min workout, my intensity will change from a
60min workout.
